FCX mines copper, gold and molybdenum, making their assets geographically diverse. They are also one of the world’s largest publicly traded copper producers. Their portfolio of assets includes the Grasberg minerals district in Indonesia, which has one of the world’s largest gold and copper deposits, as well as a large mining operation in North and South America, one here in Arizona and another in Peru. FCX places a great deal of importance on the local community in which they operate, as well as a strong commitment to safety performance and environmental management.

Further down the list at number 299 is Republic Services with $9.388M in revenue. Republic Services is the second largest provider of waste management services in the domestic non-hazardous industry. Through their subsidiaries, they provide non-hazardous solid waste and recycling services for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers. Republic places a great deal of importance on safety and sustainability.

The final Arizona company to make Fortune’s list is number 473 — Insight Enterprises with $5.486M in revenue. Insight is a provider of cutting-edge technology solutions for organizations worldwide.
