Supreme Auctions Certified Auction Agent, Lisa Bloskas of eXp Realty in McKinney, Texas took five minutes with Supreme Auctions to answer five insightful questions about her real estate career.
1. What motivated you to become a real estate agent with a focus on the luxury sector?
I decided to become a Realtor with a focus on the Luxury market after going through the process of being a Seller of my own luxury property. I hired an agent from a traditional brokerage to sell my home. My home was on and off the market for more than 2 years. Since I understand what its like from the client’s perspective, I’m able to provide the absolute best service and go above and beyond for my clients.
2. What is your favorite part about being a luxury real estate agent?
My favorite part about being a luxury agent is anticipating the needs of my clients and meeting those needs. I have a unique perspective having been a luxury client before, I know the unique circumstances and needs of a luxury client and truly get joy out helping my clients with their most intimate real estate asset they will own.
3. What is the most interesting high-end property you have ever sold and why?
The most interesting high-end property I have ever sold, was a palatial estate in the countryside. The family lived in the mansion that sat on 20+ acres. The most interesting part was they had horse barns and training facility with the most beautiful horses I had ever seen.
4. Why did you decide to become a Certified Auction Agent and take the course with Supreme Auctions?
I decided to become a Certified Auction Agent as a result of using Supreme Auctions for a client of mine whose estate sat on the market for more than a year with very few showings. His wife had just died and he was eager to sell his multi-million dollar property. Maverick and Jennie with Supreme Auctions blew me away with the attention to detail and unbelievable marketing. 5. What was a fun, or interesting fact you took away from the Supreme Auctions Certified Auction Agent course?
I found the most interesting fact to be how quickly the “carrying costs” for a luxury property add up to real money! Luxury homes can often stay on the market for years. It is easy to dismiss these costs when making decisions. These costs are easily avoided by auctioning with Supreme Auctions as there is a set SOLD date that sellers love!
